TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE AUCTION
We invite everyone to participate in our online auctions. We hope that by participating, you will fulfil your goals and dreams, and find the coins, medals, as well as other antiques you need among the material provided widely by the auction organiser. At auctions, you will be able to purchase your favourite numismatic and phaleristics items, paper money and other antique items (hereafter referred to as the Valuables).
To participate in the Numisbalt Online Auction, you should register as a bidder or an observer on the ‘Auction Participant Registration’ tab of the website auction.numisbalt.com.
If you are eligible to participate in auctions (the auction organiser allows you to participate in the auction) and you would like to bid in the online auction, please observe the following steps:
Enter your username and password on the authorisation form.
Go to the page of the Valuable (Valuables lot) that you are interested in.
A bidder can place a bid for the lot (Valuables lot) that he/she is interested in by clicking on the button ‘PlaceBid’ (thus a bidder agrees to buy the lot (Valuables lot) at the price indicated in the entry field plus a commission set by the auction organiser).
A bidder can bid by entering his/her (bidder’s) bid into the field for entering an amount before clicking on the ‘PlaceBid’.
A bidder can place AUTOBID. In this case, the auction system will bid by a minimum step on the Bidder’s behalf and, upon receipt of bids from other bidders, the auction system will automatically increase a Bidder’s bid up to the maximum Bidder’s bid price.
Clicking on the ‘PlaceBid’ and/or setting the AUTOBID bid refers to the Bidder’s unconditional and irrevocable consent to purchase the Valuables (lot – Valuables lot) displayed at the auction at the price published by a Bidder. After performing the steps described in this point, a Bidder also agrees with the commission fee and the delivery price of the winning Valuable/Valuables (lot – Valuables lot) set by the auction organiser.
The lot (Valuables lot) for which a Bidder has bid or AUTOBID automatically goes to the section ‘MyBid’. If a Bidder clicks the asterisk button on the auction Valuables lot page, this lot will go to the section ‘Watching Lots’.
At the end of the auction, all winning bidders will automatically receive a notice to the emails provided by the bidders. A notice to the Bidder will specify all his/her winning lots (Valuables lot), with the price/prices and a commission fee by the auction organiser and the standard delivery costs of the lot (Valuables lot) to a Bidder.
Online Auction Numisbalt invites everyone to sell profitably numismatic and phaleristics items, paper money and other antiques (hereafter referred to as the Valuables).
By participating in auctions, you will have the opportunity to present your Valuables to a wide audience and to sell your Valuables with the maximum benefit.
Owners of the Valuables who wish to auction their valuables can deliver them to the auction organiser’s office (address: Birbyniu street 4, Vilnius, Lithuania). Owners of the Valuables can also upload scanned photos of their valuables to the auction organiser’s email (email@example.com).
Valuables delivered to the auction organiser’s office or by email will be evaluated by the experts invited by the auction organiser (competent connoisseurs of numismatics, phaleristics, paper money and antiques). In addition, the auction organiser’s website has a order form that Owners of the Valuables can also use to describe their Valuables.
After the experts invited by the Auction Organiser become acquaintance of the presented Valuables and after a preliminary evaluation, the owner of these valuables and the person authorised by the Auction Organiser will agree on the minimum sale price of the Valuables.
The Commission Agreement between the Auction Organiser and the Owners of the Valuables can set a commission of 0% to 5% to be paid by the Owners of the Valuables to the Auction Organiser provided that the Valuables are sold in the auction and paid by the new Owner of the Valuables to the Auction Organiser. The amount of the commission depends on the uniqueness (rarity) of the Valuables, their quality, the demand and supply, the range, the quantity, etc.
Payment for the Valuables sold is made on the basis of a commission agreement concluded between the Auction Organiser and the Owner of the Valuables, after the bidding winner has paid for the Valuables lots to the Auction Organiser.
If necessary, the Owner of the Valuables is able to sell Valuables directly to the Auction Organiser (if the Auction Organiser is interested in the offer of the Owners of the Valuables).
The Auction Organiser guarantees the confidentiality of information about its clients (Owners of the Valuables).

If the parcel is insured in accordance with paragraph 46 of the Terms and Conditions, in the events of damage, irreparable destruction, theft and other similar cases, the Winning Bidder shall be indemnified only after the event has been recognised as insured and the Organiser has received the indemnity.

The Organiser shall not accept any claims regarding the authenticity of the lot/lots purchased in the Auction if the inauthenticity (falsification) thereof is found by an expert examination which could not be carried out due to technical reasons prior to the Auction date or high costs of organising and conducting the expert examination (e.g. necessary transportation of the item for the expert examination abroad, etc.) were not expedient.
The Winning Bidder shall not be entitled to claim for the damages that exceed the lot price paid to the Organiser and the commission fee set by the Organiser, nor shall he/she be entitled to claim any moral damage and other additional expenses incurred by the Winning Bidder.
The evaluation of the condition of the lot on the Website is subjective opinion of our expert (if the coin is packaged in a plastic capsule (SLABS), the evaluation of condition of the coin is presented on the plastic capsule (SLABS)). Such evaluation of the condition of the coin cannot be considered as a basis for any claim against the Organiser.
Any claims regarding the lot status, weight, authenticity, etc. related to the lots for which the final price of the lot in the Auction is between €1 and €100 (excluding commission set by the Organiser) shall not be accepted and analysed due to inexpedience of the analysis, high costs of paying experts for work, etc.
Grouped lots and coin sets are sold as one piece. Claims for the parts of the items in grouped lots and authenticity for the individual coins contained sets and other types of the requirements (claims) shall not be accepted or analysed.
A registered Bidder, who has access to the auctions planned by the Organiser and lots sold therein on the Website, can verify the authenticity of the lot/lots placed at the Auction before making a bet, contact the Organiser’s specialists and obtain detailed information, including detailed photos of the lots to be sold.
